Round Museum

Sarah Lois Vaughan was an American jazz singer who made her debut in the early 1940s by winning the Apollo Theater Amateur Night contest. She soon was hired as a singer by the Earl Hines Big Band, performing along side trumpeter Dizzy Gillespie and saxophonist Charlie Parker. Nicknamed "Sassy", in her long career she released 48 studio albums, ten live albums, and 35 compilation albums, winning four Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Inside this six foot disk is a mixture of garnet sand and glass beads, and if you give it a little spin a magical avalanche of complex wave patterns will appear with the rotation. The avalanching effect is a natural sorting and organization of the particles suggestive of turbulence in liquids.

Stamped with the Valk & Murdoch Iron Works name, the South Carolina company was founded in 1871 and made tanks of all kinds, as well as engines, boilers, cotton gins, feeders and condensers.

If an ichthyologist were to put this parasitic sea lamprey on your arm, with its disc-shaped, suction-cup mouth ringed with sharp, keratinous teeth, would you scream? What if it were dead, and yet you could still feel a slow suction on your skin? What then? Maybe it would be scary. The rough tongue of this efficient killer could rasp away your flesh to feed on your blood. Or maybe it could be greatest day of your life.

This alien beast has no brain and no blood. The horror show is only beginning, for on the end of each of its 22 tentacled arms is a colorblind eyeball. With a strangling, suction-cupped grip, it can pry open just about anything to get at its prey. And when it starts to devour its victim, a sack-like stomach oozes out of its mouth, envelops the prey to digest it, and finally withdraws back into its mindless body. No one can hear you scream.

At that time, reported sightings in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, and all the way to Oregon fanned a social media inferno. Teens with misbegotten prankster plans made fake threats to schools in Philadelphia. Stores pulled clown costumes from shelves! Birthday party bookings TANKED!! And, holy buckets, RONALD McDONALD WENT INTO HIDING!!! YIKES! What is an Insane Clown left to do??
Hang up the nose, apparently.
