Two hundred and eighty-eight analog clocks ought to be able to show you the time. If you watch for a minute, you'll see the hands twirl in a wave of movement to transform into a giant digital read-out. Designed by the Swedish group Humans since 1982, engineers and artists Per Emanuelsson and Bastian Bischoff used 576 little motors to create the synchronized dance between time and typography.

What do we have here? It's always time for pie, but what kind? Thanksgiving has a lot of traditional foods for this special day, and none of them with more variety than pie. Pumpkin is certainly the symbolic favorite, but do not NOT have apple, too. Uncle John loves that one. And Aunt Carol's special pecan pie will certainly make an appearance. How about cherry? Chocolate cream? Shoo-fly? Bring it on, there's room on the table. All good.

Balloons are fun and festive hanging around the ceiling at the children’s museum. Seemingly benign, these bouncy blobs mean you no harm. But they’re huge. Are they watching? Aware? Like the Rovers in the 1960s British television program The Prisoner that pursued and subdued escapees by bowling them over or absorbing them? Let’s just sit still right here.
