If an 8-foot steel disc could bend and walk it might look something like this large Round sculpture by Paul Sisko. His work conveys movement and flexibility, which he explores by cutting, twisting and crushing the metal to create separations of form.

Frederik's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Copenhagen, Denmark was designed in 1740, its foundation stone set in 1749, was completed and opened a mere 154 years later in 1894. The extremely long gestation was a result of budget cuts, the death of its architect and several failed attempts to finish it. Also known as The Marble Church, ultimately the rococo architecture was constructed almost entirely in limestone instead of marble.

Pop Up: Inflated Sculpture is an exhibition celebrating the versatility in design, materiality, and technology of contemporary inflatable art.

Opening on November 11, 2020 on the grounds of the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC., The National Native American Veterans Memorial is an elevated stainless-steel circle balanced on an intricately carved stone drum to honor the enduring and distinguished service of Native Americans in every branch of the US military. The Memorial was designed by Harvey Pratt, a Native American veteran who served as a US Marine in Vietnam.

A cycle ends, and then begins again. Through the Round, in the distance Baker Hill and the Sunapee mountains stand vigil for the close of another summer season. Vacations are ending, kids returning to school, and August segueing toward fall. Goodbye for now, and hello again very soon.
