If you are looking at this view of the living room light in Hillcrest Cottage, then you are very likely on the floor. So why are you on the floor? Getting motivated for a set of sit-ups? Some mind calming relaxation in the yoga corpse pose? You haven't fallen and you can't get up, have you?

This old door has seen a thing or two in its day. It may be a bit weathered, but after all this time the handle is still turning, opening up opportunities for discovery. Will there be passageways to new places? Or, a closet of memories stored away?

Along the Winslow Trail on Mt. Kearsarge you'll run across a rock or two. Most of them will be pretty jagged or angular layers, some smoothed by time and erosion. Only a few will be this Round.

Look closely at the onion ring. Focus only on the center point. Visualize an onion, sliced down the middle, concentric Round layers, ready to be batter coated and deep fried. Now think deeply... if you are served onion rings that are all the same size... then can they be from the same onion? You are getting hungry. Very, very hungry.

In 1782 Charles Thomson sketched the bald eagle as the centerpiece of his design for the Great Seal of the United States. Legend has it that Ben Franklin advocated for the turkey instead. But there wasn't really a public battle of the birds. In actuality, Ben's "recommendation" was borne of his criticism of Thomson's artistic skills – his poor scraggly bird sketch looked more like a turkey than an eagle, so why not use a turkey anyway?

Antennas extended, dripping goo, this mysterious alien glyph has appeared down on the corner from out of nowhere, like an urban crop circle in spray paint. Who did this, how did it get here, and what does this slashed zero symbol mean? Does it forewarn the invasion of body snatchers from Durchschnitt? The conquering flag planted by the Dipthong? A declaration of war by the Thetans? Satellites attacked... Wifi is down... They're here...
