Here's a study in shapes. What's in a bar stool? While the geometry of the seat can come in many forms, probably most common is the Round, which allows for quickly hopping on or off in any direction. This stool has a blue painted ring around a sausage shaped hole with an X underneath. And the seat shape? Square.
