Yeah, you know you broke it. Sure it was an accident -- you were gesturing wildly and didn't notice mom's favorite plate that was her Aunt Sally's and BAM, there it was in pieces on the floor. Maybe you can fix it. Just don't put it back together with Elmer's glue because it won't survive the dishwasher.

The 2017 NBA Championship ended last night with the Golden State Warriors winning 4 games to 1 over the Cleveland Cavaliers. The game featured several future Hall of Famers including MVP Kevin Durant and Lebron James. The Basketball Hall of Fame has existed in three forms since 1959, the most current being the only one that actually resembles the sport.

The pine cone in this picture is filling a hole. A hole that symbolizes the despair and obstacles that may lie ahead; but the pine cone protects us from falling into that hole. Like this pine cone, life can be full of different scales of people and experiences or it can just be seen as an object covered with bumps and ridges. You choose.

Tree carving is probably as old as there have been trees and people to mark on them. Archeologists refer to tree carvings as arborglyphs, and unlike petroglyphs that remain evident in rock for thousands of years, arborglyphs survive only the life of the tree, so date back only a few hundred years at most. In the western United States, history Professor Joxe Mallea-Olaetxe of the University of Nevada has documented around 20,000 tree carvings across California, Nevada, and Oregon.

Somebody's got some 'splainin' to do. If you fly a kite, there's the danger of crashing it into a tree. If you're riding along peacefully on your bike minding your own business, the danger would seem to be more ground-based. And, yet BAM! there's your tire up in a tree.

Here's a story of a lovely lady. Sure, the kids from The Brady Bunch show were so popular that they made a few records in the early 70s, went on tour and even wore brightly colored jumpsuits to boot. So it wouldn't be much of a leap to think that actress Eve Plumb made her solo debut with this picture disk, maybe a special pressing of her solo song "How WIll It Be?" Nope. This is the 1993 debut album "Envy" by the band Eve's Plumb.

Celebrate an anniversary with a classic delicious, refreshing cup of goodness in a distinct Round-labeled cup -- especially if it's the Indiana Pacers 50th basketball season. The Pacers finished 2017 just over .500 and made the NBA playoffs, bowing out to the reigning champ Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round. The Cavaliers are still in it, hoping to defend their title against the Golden State Warriors. Cheers!

On the last Monday in May, we remember those who have died serving in the United States armed forces. A tradition with origins just after the Civil War, Memorial Day became an official national holiday in 1971. In ceremony the American flag is raised to the Round, gold finial and then lowered to half-staff position in solemn remembrance until noon. It is then raised to full-staff for the remainder of the day.

Curtains and chimes, wind and water. At Municipal Pier 9 on the Delaware River, curious visitors wander through a mysterious forest of cloth in the huge empty warehouse. With the bay doors opened, the curtains billow, bells ring, and distant, droning voices waft through the room. Artist Ann Hamilton debuted her interactive art installation, habitus, in the fall of 2016, giving visitors an opportunity to activate the artistic space -- pulling ropes to propel the cylindrical curtains to sway and twirl.
