The Witchy Woman is mysterious, you never know what to expect. Will there be gin and maraschino liqueur? Tequila and sherry? Rum and bitters? Which one will it be? Well, might as well just drink up and see which magical potion it is.

Human beings are collectors. Just admit it, somewhere in your sphere of life you've stashed some assortment of similar things you value. Rare books. Coins. Bobble heads from every Major League Baseball team. Baby teeth. Or maybe you can't face being wasteful, so the rubber band around your daily mail just can't be thrown away. No! Everyday... just collect them together into a Round. You never know when you'll need one or a hundred. In a few years, you might have a planetoid on your desk.

Did you see how many Fred ate?
He grabbed and gobbled and stuffed his face,
Left crumbs and icing all over the place.
He nibbled and schnabbled and bumble-bambuzzled
Which made our guests repulsed and puzzled.
Did our collective scorn affect Fred's feast?
No, it didn't. Not in the least.

It's just this simple. Grated ginger, minced sage and fresh, squeezed lemon juice mixed in a simple syrup of white sugar and water. Crack an egg white into a shaker and shake, shake, shake it till it's frothy. Fill with ice, the syrup mixture and your favorite bourbon, of course. Char a sage leaf and then pour. Voila! It's happy hour!

Bless your heart, those piping hot biscuits sure look tasty! Please tell me ya'll fixin' to put some country ham inside. Salty, smoky, dry-cured. I declare, if a tray of ham biscuits in a pyramid stack doesn't appear real soon, I reckon I might just gnaw the leg off the table! I'll be waitin' over yonder on the porch, now, y'hear?

Water needs a place to flow. From here to there, from there to here, if there’s not a clear path it will certainly find its own way. A little drain pipe might split the distance between things and divert a pathway to another place -- through the walls, around the bend, and down to the river.

The Coat of Arms of the United States appears on scores of official documents, signs, uniforms, buildings, and the office of the President. The design is overflowing with symbolism, from the obvious to the arcane. The bald eagle is the central feature, of course, being our national emblem for its majesty, strength, and long life. Representation of the 13 original states is present in several ways -- eagle holds a bundle of 13 arrows in its left talon, an olive branch with 13 leaves and olives in its right, and a glory of 13 stars above its head.

It's moving day. You might not want to go, but it's time. Pack up your clothes, box up the china and silverware, strap the columns to the car roof. You may have only been here a short time, but look at all the heavy baggage you've accumulated!

In the winter of January it’s good to have some dreams of summer warmth, making a trip to warmer climates, maybe laying back for a nap under a palm tree.
