Round Museum

The wind and waves whip around the shores of Lake Champlain, shaping the environment in interesting ways. In Grand Isle State Park a tree root has been carved into a Round.

The Blackbird's performance and operational achievements placed it at the pinnacle of aviation technology developments during the Cold War. This Blackbird accrued about 2,800 hours of flight time during 24 years of active service with the U.S. Air Force.

The hot side is hot, and ne’er the twain shall meet. Though not typical in most American homes anymore, the split tap is still a thing in some places. So if you find yourself at this sink, you have two ways to approach a warm water solution: plug the sink and fill it with both, or open both taps and move your hands really fast between them.

Today there was a birdie putt here on the 5th green, it just didn't go in the actual hole. This shadow of a former hole was a frustrating tease of what could have been yesterday. The putt rolled directly across this Round.

An old cast iron porcelain sink requires an old plug on a chain to stop the flow. An old plug on a chain requires a copper pedestal to display this proud Round simplicity.

It is a moonless night. The air is still and quiet, broken by a sudden whoosh and crack from the crest of the hill. With an eerie green glow, the unidentified Round object descends quickly in a parabolic flight pattern from the tree line, coming to an abrupt stop seeming to hover in the middle of the 8th fairway. And then, a distant voice echoes... “fore!”

A peel and a mash and a scoop and you have the classic American side dish spherically balancing out your entree. Mashed potatoes pair well with just about everything, surf, turf or fowl, or even on their own. Top 'em with salt, pepper, butter, gravy, sour cream - heck, sculpt them into a replica of The Devil's Tower if you want. It's all good.
