This glowing curly tangle of blonde coming through the playground tube is none other than little Freya, Warrior of the Jungle Gym and Sorceress of Sunshine, Orange Down and Ugg Boots. And while the dinner hour is nigh, she might be residing here in her kingdom for a long while, it's quite difficult sometimes to convince her otherwise. Mom may need to sweeten the negotiation with sparkling jewels... or YouTube videos... or chicken nuggets.

From below, this sculptural sundial presents a Round ring against the sky. The declination of the sun will cast a numerical shadow onto the marble, with the number aligning in the centerline indicating the hour. Looks like it's a few minutes after 2:00, so Happy Hour starts real soon.

A bucolic view of Fairmount Park can be seen through a Round in one of the grand arched windows of Memorial Hall in Philadelphia. This Beaux-Arts style building was built in the park for the 1876 Centennial Exposition, the first official World's Fair in the United States. One of five main halls among more than 200 buildings of the exhibition, it is the only major one remaining. An art gallery during the Centennial, then the first home for the Philadelphia Museum of Art until 1929, it has been the home for the Please Touch Museum since 2008.

The eyes are upon you. Several different kinds of creatures stare out from this half sphere sculpture by artist Ana England. Round forms are frequent in her work, and "See", made from ceramic with polystyrene and silicon, exhibits her continuing observation of the fundamental connections inherent in nature and how common patterns emerge and are re-made.

Very soon tokens will be completely gone from Philadelphia's SEPTA transit system, as card-based technology is slowly replacing coins of all ages. This old school fare token served streetcars of the Philadelphia Rapid Transit Company, which established the first underground subway line along Market Street in the early 1900s and was eventually bought by SEPTA in 1968.
