Fonthill Tile Round
Lining the walls and ceilings of Fonthill Castle are hundreds of intricate and colorful ceramic tiles from Europe, Asia, North Africa and the Middle East. Completed in 1912, the castle was designed by Henry Chapman Mercer as his home and a museum of his collection of art, prints, furniture and ceramics. The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works on site still produces handmade tiles and mosaics.
