Ball o' Twine Round
Even the biggest things were once small. Way back in 1953 Frank Stoeber's little roll of spare bits of twine might have looked something like this six-inch Round. But like all obsessions -- rolling twine, or... documenting Round things -- stopping is the hard part. And Frank did not stop. Not in 1957 when the twine ball was 8 feet. And not in 1961 when he gave it to the town of Cawker City, Kansas at 11 feet. And today, though Frank is gone, the World's Biggest Ball of Twine rolls on at nearly 42 feet.
