El Galeón Cannon Round
You're looking down the cannon barrel of El Galeón Andalucia, a 170 foot, 495 ton, authentic wooden replica of a Spanish galleon tall ship. In the 16th century, Spain sent many expeditions to explore the coastline of America. Over time, better ships became necessary and the galleon was designed to have more cargo capacity, better defense capabilities and better maneuverability. The San Pelayo was a Spanish galleon that founded St. Augustine, the first city in the United States.
