Now that it's made a successful landing on this grey marble terrain, the Kitchen Reconnaissance Rover has extended its communication antenna and will deploy solar panels to begin its survey mission. The tomato-like probe will explore this alien environment and send data back to Home Base where it will be analyzed for past or present activity. Scientists speculate that there may be vast deposits of water, vegetables, canned goods and ice cream sandwiches in the cabinetry and refrigeration containers located around the perimeter of the landing area.
