Can’t Peep The Tree For The Leaves Round
For millennia, the standard magnifying glass has been the go-to tool to help you read some fine print or ignite a dried leaf on your driveway. Aristophanes joked in 424 BC about starting fires with one and our man Pliny the Elder advised cauterizing wounds with it. But it's probably not the best lens to use for your fall leaf peeping excursion. The convex shape produces some wild magnified effects, but details are quite blurry.
