Fun With Fungi Round
Looking like some sort of woodland confectionery treats, twin earthstars burst forth from the forest floor. Known scientifically as Geastrums, when these mushrooms grow to maturity, their outer layers peel back and separate into a star-shaped bowls surrounding inner spore sacs. Puts the fun back into fungi, doesn't it?
