Satchmo Round
New Orleans is the birthplace of the great jazz trumpeter, composer, and vocalist Louis Daniel "Satchmo" Armstrong, and his presence is everywhere from the name of the city's airport to artwork sold on the streets. Armstrong introduced New Orleans-style music to the world from the early 1920s until his death in 1971, and had many hit records including "When the Saints Go Marching In," "Dream a Little Dream of Me," and “What a Wonderful World.”
