Peace Symbol Round
The stainless steel sculpture "Peace Symbol" stands outside the Van Pelt Library on the University of Pennsylvania campus. A symbol that emerged during the tumultuous 1960s, the sculpture was designed and welded by Robert Engman and eight Fine Arts students in 1969, and quickly become the gathering spot for anti-war demonstrations and petitions to the University administration. Give Peace a chance.
