While drinking the straight shot carries a certain tough persona, scientific analysis has shown the rock will boost more of the whiskey's unique flavor as you drink it. The slow dilution provided by this icy Round will add just enough water to push guaiacol, a molecule responsible for flavor, to the top of the drink rather than dispersed.
