In 1916, access to the Statue of LIberty's Torch was closed to visitors, so the Torch view of New York Harbor has not been possible. But the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation in partnership with EarthCam has set up the first ever TorchCam to allow people a panoramic view. Cameras provide unobstructed LIVE views of the famed New York City skyline, along with exceptional views of the majestic Hudson River, ships in New York Harbor and Lady Liberty herself.
