12 Round
Down by the Ben Franklin Bridge on the Delaware River sits the clearly marked Pier 12. Now home for the Philadelphia Marine Center with more than 300 boat slips, the pier is one of many along the world's largest freshwater protected port. Philadelphia's waterfront has been bustling with activity since the City's founding in 1682. It has been the point of arrival for millions of immigrants during this long history, as well as an economic hub for shipping, travel, and more recent re-development into waterfront condominiums, restaurants and other entertainment venues.
