Magic Wheels Go Round
Bicycle wheels appear throughout Isaiah Zagar's "Magic Gardens," his visionary art environment and museum on South Street in Philadelphia. He gathered these wheels from the longest running bicycle shop in Philadelphia, Via Bicycle. The wheel represents many things to Zagar - a nod to "readymades" by Marcel Duchamp and other found object artists, and the cyclical nature of life.
