Hootin' Round
Barn owls are quiet, stealthy hunters and love small mammals for dinner -- voles, shrews, mice. They love 'em so much they will swallow 4 or 5 whole on a successful hunting night. But then the interesting part starts, because owls can't digest the fur or bone. So what happens to the rodents? Don't worry, owls are built to handle it. Give them roughly 6 hours and they will regurgitate a nifty little thumb-sized pellet of fur & bone right in front of you.
