Aloha. Konnichiwa! Guten Tag. ¡Hola! However you say hello, Planet Word is an immersive experience presenting an awe-inspiring diversity of languages from around the world. Located at the historic Franklin School in Washington, D.C, the world’s first voice-activated museum features 11 galleries. In “The Spoken World” room you can meet speakers and signers from all over the globe, representing every type of language–rare, endangered, Indigenous, tonal and even click languages. Let them introduce you to what’s unique about their own language. Find out what’s unique about each one and watch the globe burst with colorful designs and sound effects.
