Take Care Of What You Love Round
Nestled high in the Dachstein Alps and dating back a mere 7,000 years, the picturesque Austrian village of Hallstatt is a unique place to live and to visit. From the distinctive 16th-century houses, to the ancient Salzwelten salt mine, to the funicular cable car ride to the Hallstatt Skywalk, this UNESCO World Heritage site is quite a place to visit. So much so, that during the tourist season visitors far outnumber the 800 village residents. As the beautifully detailed manhole cover says, “Take Care Of What You Love.”
