Marrakesh View Round
A traditional Moroccan riad features an enclosed garden and courtyard with windows facing the interior, not the street or exterior walls. This design supports Islamic conceptions of intimacy and private space. Tubular skylights are sometimes used to bring natural light into areas not adjacent to the courtyard. Rooftop terraces provide panoramic views of the Marrakesh medina, and apparently a satellite dish, too.
