Oligodynamic Round
Walk by any pool or fountain and you’re likely to see coins in the water. The tradition is longstanding and cross-cultural, dating back to Ancient Rome and Indian civilizations. Throw in gold, silver or copper coins, say a prayer or make a wish and wait to see what happens. While power and riches are not likely, what will happen is the oligodynamic effect, where ions released from the metal coins will kill bacteria and help purify the water. Was that your wish?
