Burton-esque Beach Balls Round
Back in the Middle Ages, you could be condemned to death for wearing stripes. Apparently a striped aesthetic was too weird and diabolical for public safety, dubbed ‘the devil’s cloth’ and worn by social outcasts like prostitutes, jugglers and clowns. Stripes feature frequently in German Expressionist works and art with gothic themes. So who has decorated their doorstep this way? Beetlejuice?
