After he performed for a time as the drummer with a little band called The Beatles, Ringo Starr gathered a few musician friends in 1989 to form his All-Starr band. For more than 30 years since, various incarnations of the band have toured the world performing hit songs of the members. This drum head from the inaugural 1989 group is signed by: Ringo Starr (The Beatles), Joe Walsh (The Eagles, James Gang), Nils Lofgren (Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, Neil Young's Crazy Horse), Clarence Clemons (E Street Band), Dr. John (solo artist), Billy Preston (top session keyboardist for Little Richard, Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, the Everly Brothers, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones), Rick Danko and Levon Helm (The Band). All Starr, indeed!
