The Good Luck Martini Round
Round olives in a Round martini glass is just cocktail perfection. But the classic pre-Prohibition martini never had an olive garnish, just a little brine as a salty accent to the gin and vermouth. When FDR repealed Prohibition, he not only became a hero to the spirits industry but also contributed the olive garnish to his favorite drink recipe. Most importantly, there should be either one or three. Not two. Never Four. It’s just good luck.
