Welcome To The Holetel Arizona Round
On a bright desert pathway
Cool wind in my hair
Tall arms of Saguaro
Rising up in the air
On the edge of the cactus
I saw a hole through the side
My head grew dizzy and my thoughts intrigued
What's been living inside?
It could be a gilded flicker
Nesting in a hollow chute
Or a gila woodpecker
Building a Saguaro boot
There's the sneaky little elf owl
That will try to steal the space
Or a gang of house finches
Taking over the place
Welcome to the Holetel Arizona
Such a prickly place
Such a prickly face
