'Tis Jelly Bean Season Round
You can surely get jelly beans year ‘round, but they will be imported from elsewhere and just won’t be fresh. The optimal growing season is late winter to early spring. The peak harvest typically occurs in March or April, right around Easter when Spring has sprung and the beans have ripened so colorfully on the vine and are at their most flavorful. They’ll look great thrown into a pastel-colored basket with plastic grass and a chocolate bunny.
