National Round
The National Products Company was a cornerstone business on North Second Street in Old City Philadelphia from 1929 until its closure in 1996. Featuring a unique orange façade of terra cotta tiles and white vertical granite reveals, it was added to the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places as a historically protected building. After a decade sitting unoccupied, the facade was deteriorating, and a plan was approved for new construction to recreate it with new matching tile and salvage the original signage and other stainless steel elements.
