A Watery Lie Round
Awww, well, your golf shot is in the water! This is not a preferred lie and you could try to play on without penalty, but you'll probably get wet. So, you have a few relief choices. Maybe take a penalty stoke and drop a ball behind the hazard anywhere on a straight line from the hole through the spot where the ball crossed over the hazard’s margin as it went in, OR, find a spot the same distance from the hole as where the ball crossed over the hazard’s margin as it went in that is on the hazard’s OPPOSITE side margin and drop a ball within two club-lengths of that spot, not nearer the hole. OR, just leave it and move on. This is Putt-Putt, after all.
