Under the Parasol of Sitatapatra Round
A traditional symbol of protection and wisdom in Buddhism, the parasol provides a cool shade from the sun of course, but also from the heat of suffering, delusions, and harmful forces. The thousand-armed deity Sitatapatra is the Goddess of the White Umbrella, holding one in her many hands that form a halo around her. With the wheel of the Dharma and various other weapons in hands, she battles the enemies of spiritual enlightenment.
