Thousands of acrylic tubes radiate from a central 20-foot-tall interactive light sculpture called "me + you" at the FUTURES exhibition at The Smithsonian. Created by artist and architect Suchi Reddy, the installation uses artificial intelligence to engage visitors to speak into one of nine LED-lit mandalas and share what the future represents to them. Words spoken into the mandala are translated into a colorful explosion of light that join in the central tower of the structure.
