Jingleflake Round
Jingle bells are loud, and snow is quiet. Why are they together? In the pre-automobile 19th century, bells on bobtails were more than just a holiday spirit-brightening technique; it was also a safety measure since a sleigh in snow makes almost no noise. You would not want to be crashing through the snow into another one-horse open sleigh. Oh, what fun it would not be.
