Shepherd Gate Clock Round
Outside the gate of the Royal Greenwich Observatory building in Greenwich, London, the Shepherd Gate Clock displays Greenwich Mean Time to the world. This electric clock is part of a synchronized network of five clocks patented in 1849 by engineer Charles Shepherd. The unique 24-hour analog dial can challenge one's typical time-telling guidance for kids, "well, Jimmy, when the big hand is on the V and the little hand is on the XVIII, what time would it be?"
