As soon as you reach the bridge at Great Egg Harbor Bay you can see this Giant Wheel in the distance in Ocean City, New Jersey. At 144 feet tall and one of the largest Ferris wheels on the east coast, this huge Round is the feature at Gillian's Wonderland Pier, an amusement park at 6th Street on the Boardwalk. Since 1929 the Gillian family's amusement parks have had a presence on the Boardwalk, the first originally founded by David Gillian, and then Wonderland Pier opened in 1965 by his son Roy.
