Pane di Pasqua Round
It's the Saturday before Easter, so your table will not be ready until this sweet, sprinkled reward is placed at the center. The Pane di Pasqua, or Easter Bread, is one of the most popular specialties at Termini Brothers Bakery in South Philadelphia, and has been a classic Easter tradition for generations. The twisted bread is symbolic of the Christian Lenten season, with hard-boiled eggs baked inside as representing rebirth and the Resurrection. Gather around!
