Hippocampus in the House Round
The tiny little sea monsters hanging around the plants in this tank are just a herd of seahorses, with bony armor plated bodies and curly prehensile tails. Of the genus Hippocampus, which means "horse sea monster," the parenting jobs of the father and mother are reversed, with mom depositing her thousands of eggs into dad's pouch where he carries them around for as many as 45 days. So, its clear who wears the pouch in the family.
