This old oak barrel has done its work. After a handful of wine vintages have taken their turns fermenting within, the rich vanilla, butter and spice flavors leached from the wood are just about spent. So its about time for a little retirement recycling project. Sure, an end table or shelf is an easy out. But how about a cabinet? Sink, maybe? Fire pit? Wine rack!
