The Light at Bridget Foy's Round
The lights have been on for nearly 40 years at Bridget Foy's restaurant, with this unique chandelier gracing the stairway to the upper floors. A hub of the Queen Village neighborhood at the corner of 2nd and South Streets and Headhouse Square in Philadelphia, the restaurant opened in 1978 as the East Philly Café, but was renamed with the birth of the owner's daughter Bridget in 1982. Through the years the restaurant has stayed with the changing times, yet on Wednesday October 25th a fire devastated the property in the early morning hours and now faces its greatest challenge. Give Bridget Foy's the support you can as they work to recover and rebuild. We hope to see the lights back on again soon.
