Don't Drop the Bomb on Me, Baby Round
Outside Ottawa is a 100,000 square foot, four-story, underground Cold War relic called the Diefenbunker. Now operated as a museum, it was the site of top-secret communications from 1962 until being decommissioned in 1994. It was intended to house Canadian government officials if there was a nuclear war and built to withstand a 5 megaton nuclear blast. Kind of ironic, then, that this MK-4 Round atomic bomb welcomes visitors at the front entrance. Duck and cover, folks.
