Nelson's Column was erected in 1809 at Place Jacques-Cartier, Montreal, Quebec. It is dedicated to Admiral Horatio Nelson following his death at the Battle of Trafalgar. The west face seal depicts the Admiral standing with officers. It is Montreal's oldest monument.
