Bloody Mary Sunday Round
A Sunday brunch will not officially start until you order that vegetable garden of a cocktail -- the Bloody Mary. Traditionally just tomato juice, vodka and garnished with a celery stick, depending on the restaurant the drink gets tricked out in all kinds of ways. Season it a bit with Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, salt and pepper or Old Bay. Heat it up with a shot of Tabasco. And garnishes? Go wild, baby. A skewer can hold quite a cornucopia of options -- olives, pickles, peppers, tomatoes to complete the salad, or maybe some bacon, sausage, or shrimp for the carnivore in you. A knife and fork may be needed to drink it.
