The Atlas of Tomorrow Round
Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program believes that art ignites change. With a diverse array of more than 4,000 artworks that have transformed places and spaces all around the city, the evidence is everywhere. At the corner of Juniper and South Streets, The Atlas of Tomorrow mural created by Candy Chang is an interactive storytelling “device” to help guide you through a philosophical conundrum and maybe give you “a glimpse of who [you] might become.” Think of a problem. Take a spin of this Round wheel at the mural's center, and the number revealed will lead you to one of the mural's 64 stories inspired by the ancient I Ching.
Contemplate. Repeat. You will be better for it.
