With pounding drum beats, crashing cymbals and the roar of dragon and lion dances, bad luck is cast away for the Year of the Tiger! The dagu (大鼓) is a large drum played with two sticks as part of the Chinese New Year Celebration. Also known as the Spring Festival, the Lunar new year in 2022 starts on February 1.
