Loop is an interactive work with six giant wheels that play short flipbook-style movies inspired by Quebec literature. A music box accompanies the hand-drawn animations at the center of each wheel. The work is inspired by the zoetrope, an optical toy invented in the 19th century. Sit inside the zoetrope, pump the bar, the cylinder will turn, and the pictures will spring into motion.
