Bucket of Yeast Farts Round
During fermentation specialized yeast consumes the sugars in the beer wort. The byproducts are alcohol and carbon dioxide. This bucket contains a submerged hose in water which prevents oxygen from entering the tank and spoiling the batch. To ensure the stainless steel reservoir doesn’t “blow its top” the tank must be vented to release the carbon dioxide gas… or yeast farts!
