Live Forever Round
If you plant a hen soon enough you will have chicks, and more chicks, and then even more chicks. The Sempervivum tectorum ‘Boissieri’, otherwise known as Hens and Chicks, won't literally live forever as the latin name suggests, but it will hang around for quite awhile. During the growing season, this bronze-tinged rosette will multiply itself by four or more, spreading underground roots and quickly populating the garden.
